It’s with great sadness and heaviness of heart that I share that the rumors of Kayo Redd’s death seem to be true. The rapper and younger brother of Waka Flocka Flame, Kayo reportedly committed suicide either Saturday or Sunday. Pray for his family and friends, who have already suffered so much. I believe that God has welcomed him to the afterlife and that whatever suffering he may have been going through is over. I wish for him eternal peace and the joy of the universe.
This has made me want to reach out and do something to help people. So here goes.
You are not alone
Many many people, including me, have at times thought life was so difficult, it would be better to end it rather than continue.
Feeling suicidal is not weakness
If you are thinking about committing suicide, you are not weak. You are just worn out. I know how you feel.
Depression can cause suicide
Depression may be causing your feelings. You may just need a little bit of therapy and some medication to feel better.
You are valuable
No matter what you’ve done, or what’s been done to you, you are a valuable, awesome person. No person or event can ever take that away from you.
You are loved
I love you, no matter what’s happened or what you’ve done. I want you to be happy. Please reach out to someone for help. We need you here on earth.
If you are thinking about killing yourself, please don’t. I love you and will help you if I can. Reach out to me on Twitter and I”ll try to put you in touch with people who can help.
