It’s true. Oscar-winning Three Six Mafia are reuniting.

The rumor mill is churning out news that the entire crew will be reuniting, which remains to be seen. But DJ Paul has confirmed on Twitter that a new album is in the works for early next year.

Members of the  group, which won the first Oscar for a hip hop song (“Hard Out There For A Pimp” form the movie “Hustle & Flow”) have been performing and touring fairly often, but this would be the first time the whole group was reunited under the banner of Three Six Mafia.
